3.6 liter ticking sound

I noticed a ticking sound coming from the driver's side of my engine.
It does not start until after the engine warms up.
I am thinking lifters or exhaust manifold leak, any ideas?

I'm thinking that's a good place to start. But a warm-only ticking can be the first presentation of rod knock. The thicker (cold) oil keeps it from being apparent initially.
