This has to have been answered in the forums someplace, but for the life of me I can't find it.

So I'm finally getting a upgraded jeep. I'm going from my 2009 JKUR, and going to be picking up (hopefully) a 2015 JKUR Hard Rock. My current is pictured a few places here and has a 2.5 lift and some other basic upgrades. I was never willing to go above 33" tires on the 3.8, but with a 3.6 I should be fine.

My question is, like I said, I'm annoyed I can't find the answer, can the Rubicon wheels be used for a set of 35 x 12.5? My forum posts point me to threads I had answers to, but since that time, I've come to discover that my 2009 has few things that make it harder to put bigger tires on without the increase in backspacing, compared with newer models.

Anybody out there with 35s on stock rubi wheels (and stock suspension for the moment) I actually like the look of these stock wheels and wouldn't mind holding onto them. As a note, I don't trust spacers and won't use them.

I just had 35's put on my '15 JKUR Hard Rock with a stick & the 2.5" Mopar lift. It actually launches smoother with the 35's than w/ the 33's I had on it. Gonna have to get 1/2" or 3/4" spacers as there is slight rub at full lock. Be careful of the 35" spare fitting on the stock carrier - I added a SmittyBuilt exentension as I could only get one lug to catch otherwise.
