First post for me but I've been reading for quite a while. I have a 2015 Sport. It's a bone stock 28,000 mile 2 door Tank Green cream puff (for now). It would be a perfect rig if only I could put gas in it. To be clear, I've not had any problem with gas overfilling and spilling out, rather gas pumps, even at their lowest settings will click off after only a small amount of fuel has ben dispensed.
I know that this is a common issue and I've searched and read hours of threads about it as well as watching a few youtube videos. Since these things have been around for a while and this problem is pretty common, what has the collective wisdom finally decided the fix is?
I ask because many say that the replacement filler tube is no longer available and doesn't fix the problem anyway (although it does seem to help with overflow issues). There's the guy on Youtube who hits his tank with a hammer whenever he fills up but...there has to be a better way.
