So I think this might be a vacuum issue but wanted to get others in put on it..

While driving for a while I dont have any issues but then I need to accelerate quick and pass or just get on down the road, I press the peddle down and nada, if I am driving normally no issues and I can throttle up smoothly and drive on.

I turn off the Jeep let it set and all is good for awhile...

Any ideas? I wanna make sure I am looking at the correct thing.

There is NO cel light

2 other members have had the same problem with there 2014 JK's and the problem is with the underhood insulation getting sucked over the air intake for the filter. You need to trim the insulation back away from the opening when the hood is closed.

That underhood insulation was choking the air for the engine, that probably saved you some cash since you fixed it yourself.

For sure, normally I will search and ask questions before I buy or take to the dealership or other shop.

Usually there’s a code to give you at least somewhat of a heads up.

again thanks for the help, save me a lot of time and future cash!!

Amazing that the underwood insulation is causing an issue for so many people. I never would have thought.

This is the 3rd one I helped fix in the last year and I read about it on another Forum so it seems to be pretty common.
