I would like to put a switch that will disconnect the brake light switch when I flat tow the jeep. What color wire would I need to put the switch on? Thanks

Diodes will not fix the brake light power from the jeep washing out the blinker Signal from the tow vehicle When the braking system pushes the brake peddle.

Today I went inside the fuse box and removed Fuse M1 (the brake light fuse). I ran a wire from each side of the fuse socket with an inline fuse to a water proof toggle switch mounted behind the bumper. Now I can flip the switch and turn off the brake light power from the jeep. Now with the switch flipped off the braking system does not cause the brake lights to wash out the blinker signal from the coach. Simple fix.
