Hard top, manual transmission. I’m the 2nd owner, bought in 2015 from Carmax with 55,000 miles
In 2018, a rattling noise began from the engine compartment. Mechanic offered to disassemble engine to locate the part causing the noise, but labor would have been astronomical so we declined. Have been driving 70 miles per week since then with the rattling noise and no additional issues
Think this vehicle may be appealing to a Wrangler enthusiast who likes taking these machines apart and believes they can easily correct the rattling noise themselves
