Thank you. I have already replaced my shifter and still coming back intermittently… i can literally see the gears light on the dashboard blinking on and off, then engine light comes on « No communication with gear shift module ». I must have a power issue somewhere but to locate is not so easy...

Any update i have the same issue with my 2017 wrangler. Happened to me randomly. I just changed the shifter, same issue coming back. I have the code U0103 lost comm with gear shifter module. On many forums the fix was too replace the whole TIPM… i have a buyer for my jeep and this shit happened...
