What did you do to your JK today?

You've got to be closer and more accurate with them. The majority don't know how to use an extinguisher. I'm just not a fan.

What did you do to your JK today?

I'm not a fan of them. I work in the industrial fire protection world. I've done a ton of research on them.

What did you do to your JK today?

Installed a second fire extinguisher at my feet. The DV8 bracket is well made. We had a brake caliper on another JKU last trip out hang and catch fire on the way back to the campground. Luckily my brother didn't have his top on and was able to grab his quickly. Mine was under my TrekTop...

I believe the 2016 got the factory upgraded cooler.

What did you do to your JK today?

What year? The upgraded the newer JK's. You can tell by looking. If you see aluminum it's upgraded.

What did you do to your JK today?

You can do all of that with simple hand tools. In a long Saturday. Have you ever or has the oil cooler been replaced?

What did you do to your JK today?

It moves the track bar to its correct angle. The adjustable bar is what will center the axle.

What did you do to your JK today?

You will want both. A bracket alone won't center the axle.

What did you do to your JK today?

Installed a set of Redline Tuning hood struts. They were not the cheapest on the market but I liked how they installed better than any other brand. They are no drill and takes about 10 minutes to install. They hold the hood open a bit farther than the hood prop. They also have a quick disconnect...

What did you do to your JK today?

Got my Genright windshield armor painted and installed. Well, installed minus the top bolt. Not too bad for spray cans. I picked up a couple of custom paint match cans from Amazon. I sprayed the back 4 coats matte black. The front has 5 coats of color and 2 coats of clear. The worst part of...

What did you do to your JK today?

Unpackaged the Wilwood calipers to see what I needed for brake lines. I'll be ordering some custom ones to either go to an AN fitting or an 1/8" port on the caliper. This Busted Knuckle kit is on my brothers JKU Dana 60 and it stops on a dime with 43's. They are super light; yes that is 3.19...

What did you do to your JK today?

You'll be back here complaining about it. The noise never goes away. It doesn't just magically stop ratcheting.

What did you do to your JK today?

Are you going to drive it? If so you want a selectable locker. A lunchbox will stay locked all the time and you'll eat through tires. When turning, the inside tire spins slower. With a lunchbox locker, it will not and it will scrub the tire. And your turning radius will suffer.

What did you do to your JK today?

Swapped out the lower panel in the dash. Since I swapped in my PRP seats and use the Auxbeam to control their heating feature, I didn't need the OEM heated seat buttons anymore. It's my OCD that wanted it to change. Now it matches my '12 that I daily.

What did you do to your JK today?

Swapped the Ford hubs for a set of Warn Premiums. They turn a lot better, have less crap inside them, and don't say Ford.

What did you do to your JK today?

The D60 calipers are very heavy and suck at braking in a JK. We put this on my brothers ECGS D60 last summer. The calipers are so much lighter and stop in a dime and hold with little pedal effort.

What did you do to your JK today?

They are a quality piece. It's machine billet aluminum. I had them on my TJ as well. I really don't like the footman loop. $30 isn't that much anymore.

What did you do to your JK today?

Unboxed my Busted Knuckle Super Duty Dana 60 light weight brakes unboxed. I'm still waiting for the Wilwood calipers and pads to get here so I can put it on. This will cut roughly 66# from my Dana 60 and stop much better. We put this kit on my brothers '12 with a Dana 60 and it works great...

What did you do to your JK today?

Got the name on my '13 and got it loaded to head to TN tomorrow for the weekend. It will be it's mayden voyage. Should be fun learning how to drive again moving from a TJ to the JKU.
