    2012 3.6 P06DE

Never had this Jeep off road. I'll keep a watch on it. I don't think changing the oil pump would be hard, just time consuming.

    2012 3.6 P06DE

My 2012 is throwing P06DE code intermittently. The oil pressure sensor was recently replaced with a Mopar unit. Oil pressure, according to Torque Pro, is between 25-80 PSI depending on engine load when the engine is warm. Upon a cold start, oil pressure is up to 90-95 PSI. It seems like the dual...

What did you do to your JK today?

I can't figure out how to get the recording to post. Here is the link where I got the muffler idea from. The picture is the part number.

What did you do to your JK today?

Mine lost and rebalanced weight. I ditched the large, heavy, and plugged up OEM muffler last week. I've driving it this week with just the resonator and it was too loud for me. I wound up installing a 4" round Magnaflow straight through muffler today. It sounds really good. When I removed the...

What did you do to your JK today?

Not all Rubicon's got 4.10 gears. I'd pull your VIN to verify. I wouldn't put a lift on without adjustable control arms. Your ride, ground clearance, and alignment will be much better. Don't skip out.

What did you do to your JK today?

You'll want adjustable control arms instead of the brackets. And with 35's you need to regear. You will want at least a 4.10 with 4.55 gears being better. This is assuming you have a 3.6 with an automatic.

What did you do to your JK today?

I changed the oil, rotated the tires, and installed the Power Stop Z36 pad/rotors. I'm trying out the Valvoline Restore & Protect 5w30 oil to see how it does on my 3.6 with 220k miles. I plan on changing the filter in 1k and 3k miles and then change the oil & filter again at 5k miles. I've read...

    Torque Pro users

Thanks. That's how mine is set up too. I've got the others that you have too and they work, just not the TPMS. JSCAN does see them fine.

What year JK do you have? I've tried everything I can find on the Internet for the JK TP PID for tire pressure but can't get it to work. My JSCAN sees the TPMS data fine.

    Rear axle gearing question

It all depends. Easiest way to tell without pulling a diff cover would be to jack up the rear, put it in neutral, and rotate and count. For every 1 rotation of the tires the driveshaft will rotate the number of gearing it has; for every 4.56 rotation of the driveshaft, the tires will rotate 1...

    Rear axle gearing question

If the PO didn't change the gears while installing the ARB's, I would be surprised. Stock gearing can be either 3.21, 3.73, or 4.10 gears. You can look up your build to see what your factory gearing was. https://www.mopar.com/en-us/my-vehicle/vin-lookup.html

That's pretty great speeds for the middle of nowhere.

What did you do to your JK today?

Got the vent swapped out tonight. There is a picture below that shows how the spare tire delete plate is bumped out around it to allow it to function. The license plate bolts are just inside the top corners of each side of the vent. My original vent didn't have any flaps. I am fairly certain it...

What did you do to your JK today?

Installed a Crawltek Pyro stubby front bumper, Rough Country 12k winch, and 2 more spot/flood combo lights.

What did you do to your JK today?

It doesn't completely cover the vent. There is a 1/4" gap between the part the license plate sits on and the vent. It still functions as normal. I did order a new Mopar vent because the rubber on mine is falling apart. I'll take a picture of how it is tomorrow when I take the plate off to put...

What did you do to your JK today?

Deleted the spare tire mount. I'm using the Feniex Quad light as primarily the third brake light. When I turn on my POV response lights (VFD), the light will flash blue. The brake light will override the blue light, but when brake is released and the blue lights are active, it goes back to...

What did you do to your JK today?

Installed a black Jeep logo on my new black grill. I've been researching stubby front bumpers and spare delete kits today too.

What did you do to your JK today?

No and in my research for a good replacement, everything I saw only indicated the single horn behind the driver headlight. It works fine on the stock wiring. The PIAA instructions just say to tap into the factory wiring to the other horn.

What did you do to your JK today?

Loud and like a normal horn since they are dual tone. The OEM horn is a single tone. I need to rotate the one I put on the fender so it points the sound forward. I'll do that tomorrow.

What did you do to your JK today?

Swapped the wimpy factory horn for the PIAA 85110 dual tone set up. The second horn wouldn't fit in the same area as the OEM, so I moved it off to the side.
