    Removing Stuck Doors

Try Kroil, it seems to work better than PB blaster most of the time. From what I hear, Kroil is a trans fluid and acetone mix. Don't floor jack too much, maybe lift 3". So measure resting height and go up from there. Do this in about the 45 degree door open spot, then wiggle the door slightly...

What did you do to your JK today?

If it blows again, put a 30 amp in and call it good.

    What's leaking in this photo?

The leak is minimal but also very recent as no dust or dirt stuck to it. Any new play or wear could cause the seal to oblong/deform and let a little fluid past it. Does the noise change with acceleration? If not, then it is probably just a dry or worn seal starting to weep. If the noise does...

    Dune flag options

Just re read your post, I missed the Tow hook mount part of the post. Do you mean under the hook like a bolt on?

    Openroad winch experiences?

Not much to add here but a few years ago on offerUp, I bought 3 Warn i9000 winches that were "used" and a little sun faded for $500. All worked great. The winches were from some agency in AZ that automatically replaced them after X amount of years. I would guess from inspecting them, they were...

Looking for a part with no success

Ok, let’s break this down. “So, you have not been to the shop” I have been to the one on inland empire blvd in Ontario many, many times. My shop is in Ontario so, if it was a decent shop, it would have been very convenient for me. About 50% of the time they did not have what I needed. My shop...

    J8 booster talk

Can you change to a longer fitting with more threads? You will have to re flair the tube, which is a pain.

Looking for a part with no success

No offense about hose man, but I know they don't make AC lines or brake hoses. Most hose shops do not work with tube or DOT stuff. Maybe they have branched out some and I did not notice.

Looking for a part with no success

I don't think hose-man or any hose guys make fuel injection line (I may be wrong though). You might want to try a specialty shop that does AN and brake lines. We have a shop here in so cal called G&J surplus that makes that kind of stuff. Make sure you have the right tool to remove the line...

What did you do to your JK today?

Not sure if this is much help (mine was a TIPM problem) but lots of trial and error here: https://wranglerjkforum.net/threads/no-start-signal-on-07-jku.32526/

What did you do to your JK today?

As in the key/ignition switch is not sending the signal to turn over? (no crank, no start)

What did you do to your JK today?

I assumed it was the TIPM. I know you mentioned the issue earlier in this thread, but can you re play what is happening?

    California chain requirements

I believe if you have 4wd and AT tires, you don't need chains. At least that is what I am told at checkpoints headed to Big Bear. At a certain point, a sign says "chains required", it is a rotating sign, so it is only out during certain times. later up the road, if it is actively freezing and...

    Coolant hose question

From the looks, the tabs may fold over to create tension, or get removed to allow the clamp to tension. The glue may be to keep the clamp in a proper orientation so the tab can be removed. I am basing this off of the yellow tab, as I can see it better. Blue tab may get slid off sideways That is...

New to the Jeep world and need advice

This is what I did. The two extra cylinders did make it sound cool. One thing that made it sound way better was to have stage II trans installed. Did not realize how a slipping and dying trans made the two extra cylinders sound like they were starving. The shop adjusted the shift points too via...
