I have a 2015 Rubicon 116,000 mi that down shifts hard from 5th to 4th gear going up a hill. It just started this. This is a one owner vehicle and is always freeway miles driven. It does have the transmission cooler and the temperature has never gotten above 168. It does not down shift like this...

My 2015 Rubicon is doing the exact same thing. My wife had it do it one time after making a panic. Stop on the interstate and I headed done the same thing to me making a slow easy right hand turn. Put the Jeep in neutral fires right up and goes right on. It might not do it for two for 2 weeks...
