I actually have a similar version and think it’s a great mounting location. Away from everything but close enough to reach if needed….. I must have several phone mounts that have turned out to be trash but this one has held up nicely surprisingly…...

💯%…… I’ve had everything looked and tightened but the incline on my driveway, manual, and the 35’s are too much for the handbrake. I always have it in gear and use chocks now so I don’t hurt anyone who may be walking behind it.

You probably don’t need another confirmation but this exact setup works wonders for me as well….. I just hope I don’t go too far and muck something up!

I was in a similar situation in July. I purchased the Jeep with these 22’s but they were incredibly loud and sluggish due to the mud terrains(first pic). I ended going with a 17x9 wheel (Fuel Vector-2nd pic) and some nice 35” Toyo Open Country RTs……SO much better…..

I just bought (July) a 2014 Rubicon from PA and it looked similar. I used POR15 and a product from Eastwood called Rust Encapsulator and it’s worked very well.

2014 Rubicon JKU Hard Top…… used with a some scratches but all in all good condition…… free for anyone who wants to pick it up in the South Bay Area.

Dan- what dealer did you go with? I have a very low mileage 2014 Rubicon but just want to keep a good Rolodex just in case.
