Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist always seem to have hardtops for sale All over Texas anywhere from 1-3k in prices…

Craigslist and Facebook marketplace here in Dallas/Ft Worth always seem to have options. Usually 2-4k in price.

I guess I be the first to ask, how much?

An honest question, what are the cables for? I’ve seen this on a couple of Jeeps but don’t know their purpose.

What’s the story on that hardtop? I have never seen one like that.

I made the same jump from 98 to 2013. Love the newer model. Much more useful for daily activities.

I took all the plastics off to clean with the usual car wash soap. Then simply used a couple of damp rags to wipe everything down. Then used small amounts to mothers protectant to give everything a good wipe down. Now I wipe it down every couple of washes.

Added some red accents to go with the seat covers.

I also used jscan. Not expensive at all and was super easy to use.

I think they fit very well. A little difficult to install but I think that is due to how well they fit. I only put them on yesterday so time will tell how they hold up. I will try and post back in a few months with that info. It is a weekender and stays in the garage most of the time.

New seat covers and door off mirrors.

Dirty would not be a problem if every thing else checks out. Mine was like this.

Added a rack to store the top.

My wife and I just lifted it up and it slides right in. Right now I have a blanket for it to slide on while I find something more permanent. It stays off just about full time as the Jeep is our 3rd car and my 15 year olds future driver. At least that is what she thinks.

Added a garage rack for storing the JK hardtop and freedom panels.

Added grab handles and grill inserts.

They are all over Craigslist and Facebook marketplace. Here in Fort Worth I have even seen them free. So you can get a replacement for almost nothing. And they are very easy to remove and replace.
