looks like you found the elusive low blinker fluid detector connector. Just attach it to the doomiflatchy outlet and you should be good to go.

I have dealt with those type fasteners during my career. I am surprised that Jeep thought these cheapies would last. I guess if they get through the warranty period, it would be no problem for the company. Thanks for the info. I know now what I am faced with and can plan accordingly.

I am trying to remove it to install a Halo LED headlight. The pic you show differs from mine. Mine has a black housing with fins on the back. Like the LED ones.

The chrome ring comes off ok. the 7 inch bulb has an acrylic domed shaped cover with 3 tabs holding it to the black housing. This is sealed and glued to the housing and won't release by opening the tabs. Therefore you cant get the headlight out.
