We decided to go with 285/70/17 on 17x9 method rims

My daughters BF is buying her rims from a friend that runs an off-road shop, he said to buy 33/12.50/17 tires for them. Are these too big of a tire for a stock 2017 sport 4 door wrangler? I don’t want her to have major tubing issues. Thanks

Not sure about the gears, it’s a stock sport so whatever it came with. Yeah that size tire is about the same diameter as the stock tires, what I’m looking for is an AT tire with a bolder look, nicer rims etc.
