    Factory steel bumper winch capable?

As an update. I ended up going with the maximus-3 from rubitrex. I already have a plate for the fairlead and the fairlead itself, so I was able to get the $270 version. I then managed to find the d-ring loops for that kit on ebay for just about half price. They are the display models so the wear...

    Soft top downsides?

As stated, the storage is a huge issue for some folks, especially for a hard top if you don't have a garage. I have to get a buddy to help me get it up on a lift in my shed. Of course the jeep can't get into the shed. Other reason can be the noise. I've upgraded to a newer rig (2009 -> 2015)...

    Factory steel bumper winch capable?

I'm looking again. The weather is getting warmer up here and I can almost start on the Jeep again. I appreciate you mentioning the issue you had. I pulled my Badlands 12k off my old jeep before selling and it spent the winter in the shed hanging out with the lawn mower. I would have been quite...

    My 2016 JKU overland build

So is this panel on top of your rear seats a homemade item or did you buy it somewhere? If homemade what is it made of? I'm constantly looking for a better solution to the trench issue for my dogs.

    Full sized cargo liner

The tpe like material is more along the lines of what i'm looking for, although I've been eyeing the product that Cansvasback makes. They are just across the border in Minnesota. Your link did send me into the right direction though. I learned that the back of the rear seats covers is called...

Looking for the closest rattle can match or vinyl wrap for 2016 Firecracker Red

Each new jeep I get I always go to O'Reilly's and have them mix up a rattle can of my pain code. In my small town Wisconsin, O'Reilly's is the only one that mixes, but Advanced has premixed cans as well, and I believe the firecracker red has been on enough years where that is one of the colors...

    Full sized cargo liner

Eventually I'm going to get Armorlite for my 2015 JKUR, but after reading up on it, the parts that cover the rear of the seats is less than perfect, and people don't suggest getting it. So first, does anyone have here have the full Armorlite and can back up or refute those claims. Second, has...

    Factory steel bumper winch capable?

The more I look the more I lean that way. The plate is whatever, but the ability to add the d-ring loops, even with the price, has me leaning heavily toward Rubitrex. There doesn't seem to be anything that is similar, and of quality.

    Factory steel bumper winch capable?

Thanks. That is the one I have been eyeing. There are features on both that intrigue me. I wish the D-ring loops weren't so damn expensive on for the one from Rubitrex. I like that option.

    Factory steel bumper winch capable?

There is one on Extreme Terrain that is a bit less, but still pretty expensive. I'd be very interested in a more reasonable one. Thanks!

    Factory steel bumper winch capable?

Makes sense that they are thin. I doubt car companies would be able to put ones similar to the aftermarket steel bumpers on and still pass safety requirements. I think it will have to wait, just dropped a bunch on a new Alpine stereo to replace the awful 730N it came with.

    Factory steel bumper winch capable?

Ok, thanks. It appears that I need a mounting plate for my winch and I just need to decide on which one. Wet weekend around here, so I'll have to find a different time to dig in.

    Factory steel bumper winch capable?

Very happy with my latest upgrade to a 2015 Hard rock. This is the first vehicle with a factory steel bumper, and I've been unable to find out what I have to do to put a winch on it. Googling has made it less clear. I haven't had a chance to pull the top plate off and look yet as it has been...

    2015 stock Rubicon wheel options

This has to have been answered in the forums someplace, but for the life of me I can't find it. So I'm finally getting a upgraded jeep. I'm going from my 2009 JKUR, and going to be picking up (hopefully) a 2015 JKUR Hard Rock. My current is pictured a few places here and has a 2.5 lift and some...

New to me Jeep, came with some problems

I use only universal. I don't think it's as good as the specific stuff, but it's not far off and it's tons better than mixing. So has the air coming out of the vents been warm or hot when you turn on the heat? If it's not getting up to temp, then the first thing I would do is replace the...

Best places to buy a remanufactured transmission online?

I think we are all hoping someone else has a place. I thankfully don't need one for my JK, but I'm in similar need for the AX15 in my TJ, though with that I'll go for a used and attempt a rebuild.

    P0430 Code Catalytic Converter

Perhaps the farmer focused shops around me are more willing to do that kinda thing. Though at the same time I know most don't like people bringing in random internet junk.

Tire and Wheel size on a 3" lift.

Mine above is a 2009 and I wasn't able to use the stock rims, but I've heard that later years can. For me there was a single suspension component in the rear that got in the way. Left rear tire couldn't even be bolted on, I needed more backspace. climb under with a flashlight and see how...
