UPDATE-
Well, read the details in owners "book" (721 pages) and found 2 drs. do have "tip 'n slide" seats. Cool, but mine were likely never used so this feature/movement was sort of frozen in place. Lots of fiddling cleaning and lubing; I got them working. So much easier to get in/out. Nice...
My '16 has a hardtop installed after purchase by PO. The white plastic interior has some soiling/staining that has refused to come fully clean. Mostly light brownish soiling in vertical sections of rear corners; not a big deal but bugs me. I feel this whitish textured plastic soils easily and...
Guys, I know pricing will vary with region/retailer, but curious, what is typical for JK wheel alignment cost, 3" lift, if that matters, from an independent shop? I'm in NJ.
Thanks
This antenna is from PO, not sure of brand/etc.
Reception is rather weak, like to improve.
Anyone have comments of how stock antenna works or recommendations for alternates?
Thanks.
Here's my little full size to mini spare conversion project.
Didn't like hauling all that weight of full spare hanging off tailgate even though I have heavy duty carrier. I actually feel slight improvement in handling by reduced mass.
Wanted to delete but have a spare when wheeling.
Found...
My '16 has the 2 factory remote keys but I'd like a waterproof one to take when kayaking, etc.
Anyone with experience know if a plain old metal key will unlock and start the Jeep and allow it to run?
My '16 hardtop, doesn't have body side-connections for power/washer. I'm not interested in spending ~$250 for a harness plus 4ish+ hours to do entire tie in.
Looking for anyone with experience doing a simple power tie-in for defroster/wiper, I don't really need washer.
Anyone do this ?
Thanks.
Work in progress. Not trying to jinx myself but I've never had a flat while wheeling, so I'm working on spare delete/plate relocation.
Found a mini-spare (Grand Cherokee) to carry when wheeling and keep the back seat in-place too.
From PO, my hardtop has scratches and small chips at lower edges near where it meets the body. Thought this welting might be a good solution to cover those defects and protect it somewhat when handling hardtop off Jeep.
Anyone try this welting approach...
All my cars and Jeeps have had dead pedals, I really miss this in the JK.
JK foot well is extremely narrow, almost no room.
Anyone come up with a custom dead pedal install they like?
Guys,
'16 JK here. Would like to calibrate speedo and control TPMS system, that's pretty much all I think I need.
What tool/method do you recommend?
Thanks.
