What did you do to your JK today?

Oh I'm not doing it myself. I've said in another thread I don't have the time, tools, space, or expertise for this job. I however, do have a local mechanic that I actually trust so once I have cash to drop on the install I'm going to call him to set up a date.

    BF Goodrich K03

Ugh. It irks me how much the price of tires have gone up.

Has anyone installed JL brakes on a JK?

Just trimming of dust shield from what I've seen and read. You also have to have 17s at least, 15s are too small.

    BF Goodrich K03

How much did the full set run you?

Has anyone installed JL brakes on a JK?

Apparently the consensus is to put JL Rubi brakes on the front and JT brakes on the rear.

    Best LED Headlights

JScan costs about $20 USD per license, and a decent Bluetooth ODB dongle is about $35-40 USD. This is something you really don't need to involve a stealership with.

What did you do to your JK today?

Yeah I was originally going to go with a Yukon kit that included new covers as well but I've read their QC has gone downhill a lot over the years. Weird, since I am under the impression Motive, Yukon, and Revolution all come out of the same factory in South Korea.

    Best LED Headlights

They were on my '07 until I got ProComps. Nothing wrong with the Mopars, but I like the ProComp better. Both sets were plug and play, no adapters. There's a setting in JSCAN I toggled for this and its worked no issue for me for years.

What did you do to your JK today?

The results of my bad decision making have arrived. It will probably be another month or two before I install.

    Best LED Headlights

I have a set of Mopar LED headlights I dont use but they're not DRL plus shipping to Canada would probably be insane.

Has anyone installed JL brakes on a JK?

I might do it next time I do brakes and rotors due to how plentiful JL parts should be.

Has anyone installed JL brakes on a JK?

I know JL brakes will work on JKs but some trimming is involved.

    2008 Sahara radio upgrade

I had one of those cheapo Chinese Android units and while it worked, it was still a laggy POS. They also use older spec USB cables so your phone charges oh so slowly.

The Crna Utra JKU from Aus

Damn, you really brought that thing back. How much did you spend fixing it vs the $8000 AUD you spent acquiring it?

    2010 3.8 P0206

I can confirm Mark is the best and the fastest when it comes to that. He had my PCM tested and software updated and back to me within a week. Granted, my overall issue did not turn out to be the PCM, it was still excellent and quick service. Their techs will explain to you exactly what is...

    2008 Sahara radio upgrade

Trail Seven has the easiest plug and play kits but their cheapest one is about $700. As someone who's done their own installation, I wish I had known about them before because I absolutely hate doing wiring.

    LED Headlights

Check your battery terminals for corrosion. Your alternator could also be going so get it tested. Check all your battery and grounding cables as well. These are all issues that can lead to problems with headlights, especially LEDs since our Jeeps weren't designed for them.

50 state legal progammer recommendations for 09 JKUR

I bet they're used to the exact scenario you just described.

50 state legal progammer recommendations for 09 JKUR

Just get JScan and a Bluetooth ODB reader. I've never heard of a programmer having to be California legal but I'm fortunate to not live in that prison.

What did you do to your JK today?

I don't have the tools, time, or expertise to do it myself in my tiny one car garage. I'd love to be able to but outside of regular maintenance and stuff that doesn't require a massive amount of disassembly, I'm out of my league.
