What did you do to your JK today?

Fronts or rear? Fronts are worth it 100%. I can sit in them all day with zero fatigue. I need a new front lower seat cover for my 2012 JKU daily driver and can't find one anywhere. I don't want to buy replacement seats as I just put new lower foam and heating elements in them.

What did you do to your JK today?

I had to pick up a seat at the local wrecking yard because I sold all of the original seats out of it. I had planned a PRP bench I got second hand from a friend, but I didn't like how it was to get in/out of it because of the sides. So the factory seat went it and I've got a PRP cover to match...

What did you do to your JK today?

    1. GMRS installed and wired in. 2. Bulletpoint mounts installed. 3. Auxbeam 12-button switch panel in and wired. 4. Starlink mount installed and wired. 5. Armorlite flooring installed. 6. Factory sub removed and Kicker installed in its place. I've still got to wire the amp up.

What did you do to your JK today?

Thanks. It is not a Dometic fridge. It's just one from Amazon. I had the same in my TJ and had great results from it.

What did you do to your JK today?

They are getting ready to be removed. I've got the Motobilt rear armor on order.

What did you do to your JK today?

Got my rear slide installed and pieces/parts put on it. The Dometic slide is excellent. It bolts into the factory spots and works flawlessly. I've still got a shit load of stuff to do before next weekend when I get it on the trial for the first time.

Make sure they are not used gears, etc. You can't buy gears or an install kit for much less than $500. It cost me $1,900 to have mine done on my daily JKU in Q3 last year. And that was a "family" discount from the shop that did it.

What did you do to your JK today?

Got the PRP front seats swapped in and the rear stock seat out. I also removed the rear carpet in preparation to install the Armorlite flooring when it gets here. Installed the RockHard harness bar. I've got the rear one on order to install as well. These will tie me over until this summer...

What did you do to your JK today?

Stock or a street lifted JK in about a 150 mile radius of me is down in price, especially since I bought the '12 that I daily. What I paid seems to be the going rate here. I know of 2 that sold that were friends of mine in the last 3 months that were similar builds that brought the same that I...

What did you do to your JK today?

Thanks. It's always up and down. My brother got a similar built '12 JKU in 2023 for not much more than I paid. It would have cost me 2-3 times what I paid to build it myself. And I was able to sell my TJ to offset cost.

What did you do to your JK today?

The wheelbase alone is almost 2' difference. The stock axles are 5" wider. This JKU is stretched 3" rear and 2" front too. These full width axles are almost 10" wider than the TJ axles. There was always a huge difference in the line I took in the TJ vs the JKU's I trail ride with. Granted there...

What did you do to your JK today?

Picked up this 2013 JKU a week or so ago. It has front Dana 60, rear shaved 14 bolt, sport cage, 3-link front/rear, and 40's. It is replacing my '00 TJ that was built for rock crawling. I've been installing and making changes to make it safer and more capable on the rocks. Today I swapped...

Have you check the starter relay? If so, I'd lay a bet on the ECM.

What did you do to your JK today?

Installed the PPE thermal bypass on the transmission lines. The OEM one has a thermostat in it that didn't start opening until around 170°F. I didn't like my transmission temps that high, the ATF +4 fluid likes lower temps. We'll see in the next few hours what my temps get to. Install took about...

What did you do to your JK today?

The JK doesn't come with them, but you can add them very easily. Well at least on the 2012+. I think the only way they came factory with the 2012+ is IF it had the auto climate controls. They take about 5 minutes to add on the 2012+.

What did you do to your JK today?

That's interesting. I had to put a zip tie to hold the headlight plug to 3 prong adapter in the factory wiring harness night before last. I thought I had a LED headlight going out. I have these in my JK & TJ. I really like them, if you decide to change yours...

What did you do to your JK today?

Yea. The filter design on the 3.6 is dumb. It doesnt have a drain back valve causing an almost dry start every time.

What did you do to your JK today?

I'd leave it be if it's stuck closed. Probably the best thing that could've happened to the engine itself.

What did you do to your JK today?

Bought 2 Walker replacement cats for the 3.6. Now to get them installed (dreading it).

Get you one of these and you'll be good. I have the one in the middle and have never broken a clip.
