I've had this one for about 5 years and no issues...

But, if you'd like, I'll see if I can find my OEM and would let you have it for $10 + shipping. And I'll ship it before payment if you like.

Sad news: Allison Parliament, founder of the world-famous Jeep ducking craze, has passed away unexpectedly on June 22nd. Her mother confirmed her death on her Facebook page on June 25th. Parliament's...
I have an AEV Procal, practically new with the box and instructions. Came with my Jeep when I bought it. Not used it much at all except to check some settings when I first bought it. I started using JScan shortly after I purchased the Jeep and have been trying to get rid of the Procal.
From what I've read, the footman loop (above the windshield) would have to be moved and the pegs for the freedom panels were relocated on the newer tops, so the corresponding holes won't line up. Sounds like some drilling is in order.
A friend if mine (former Air Force guy I had in a class at the War College in Newport) asked me about the "haze grey and underway" thing. I explained that Navy ships are painted in a color called haze grey and all that. He couldn't understand how I could enjoy spending so much time at sea on a...
I second that. Any time you start replacing parts and tinkering with the front end, odds are you'll need to get it straightened out when everything is said and done.
Once you've figured it out, get out your favorite softball bat and smash those halo lights into oblivion. Replace with a decent pair of LEDs without the halo.
Sorry, allowed my feelings about halo lights get in the way of a person needing help. My feelings about angry bird grilles and halo...
The bothersome part of this is the world of difference in having a front drive shaft u-joint and a wheel bearing issue. The effect of either being bad are not really close when it comes to symptoms, but either are very easy to diagnose.
A wheel bearing on one of the fronts? You'd likely be ale to feel that every time you turned the steering wheel. It will tend to grind and send a vibration all the way up the steering shaft. But, at least it's not difficult to diagnose if that's where you decide to go look. Everything else that...
Yeah, the storage area inside the rack measures about 4.5' x 4.5'. I have a Reese cargo bag that measures 37x30x16 that fits nicely if I need to carry a few bags. This one is considered weather "resistant" and was only $30. The waterproof version is close to $100.
With the panels off the front...
There's no name=plate or stamp anywhere? It doesn't look familiar to me.
I've had the Smittybuilt Defender rack for nearly as long as I've had my Jeep and I wouldn't have it any other way. Tops come of and into the padded back and up to the rack. I have a couple large dogs, so the rack carries...
Here it is:
There are 6 of them that hold the hardtop down to the edges of the bed. The torx screws go through the bed and into these to hold the top down.
The adhesive is not good, though. I still have mine, but once the first one popped off, I used Gorilla 2-sided tape after cleaning everything up.
You said tiny, so I was thinking you added this to the dash...
Sorry. Maybe they changed owners or something. Friend of mine took his there after he tore up his rear end in Uwharrie and said they did a good job. That was several years ago, so...
