    New Jeep!

Nothing to worry about. You have a warranty. Simple as that. Though, dealers are IMO shady but thats a rant. Enjoy the Jeep. It certainly is nice and looks well treated. Best wishes and welcome.

What the heck is this strange sound?

Not the fault of anyone. This is a relatively common issue for the 1st, 2nd gen Pentastar. It happens due to weak or subpar parts. It's a toss of the dice, really. The repair cost is high but it could have easily been 6k. Or a new engine. I had a friend with a tab that was approx 6k but he had...

    Chasing the tail

OP, does it feel like you're riding a wave on a boogieboard? Sort of like floating up and back down in a left or right motion?

    Possible New Jeep Model

Nevermind what it looks like, the cost will be astronomical considering a used JL w 40k miles is easily in the mid fifties and over. Though, Im sure plenty of people will still finance themselves into an unnafordable hole. 🫠 🇺🇸

    Tire Pressure Monitor Problem

Check if the Jeep has any codes. If not, then shut off or "delete" the TPMS warning light by using this device or the like: https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/30406007ag-aev-procal-module Checking for codes here: https://www.cjponyparts.com/resources/jeep-wrangler-check-engine-codes

code p0300 multiple engine misfire detected

Yah, issues arise. I'll argue more mysterious and costly with the Pentastar than any other Wrangler gen. But since I don't have stats and numbers, you can pass off my negative outlook as hyperbole. And of course there are mixed reviews. Here's some interesting reads...

code p0300 multiple engine misfire detected

True story: coworker of mine had a Renegade. Worst purchase she made. To be fair it was one of the first models but she had major catastrophic issues with it. Maybe they're more reliable now, I obviously don't know. Low miles Wrangler, so you'll get a nice coin.

code p0300 multiple engine misfire detected

Gotta love how a dealer, the people who are supposed to know these Jeeps better than anyone, and arguably the most expensive, just throw parts at client vehicles without really diagnosing the issue. Curious, how many miles you have on your Jeep? If it starts, moves and runs fine, and MPG is...

What the heck is this strange sound?

Please chime back. Id luv to read what the dealer suggests. I'll take a guess: DEALER: "Not sure. It could be a number of things. Why not leave it here with us and we'll diagnose it for a fee of $150?" And I can almost guarantee they still wont know what it is until they charge you more to get...

Code P0300 after replacing almost everything

OP, look up "JT the car guy" on YouTube. He has a lot of info on the 3.6 and repairs he's done. In fact, you can send the guy $20 and he'll consult with you. Never hurts. Best of wishes ✌️

What the heck is this strange sound?

Could be the famous 3.6 "tick". Swear that JKU's are a turd-brick. If its coming from the bottom, maybe waterpump or exhaust. But Id be skeptical. Curious how many miles on your 15?

What did you do to your JK today?

Last year, I switched from ceramic pads to semi-metallic. It made a big difference and Im satisfied while running 35's (D rated) Mickey Thompsons. Stops lovely. My point being: a big brake kit is not always needed for everyone.

    Lifetime powertrain warranty buyout

This is one hell of a b#tch! I really want to know how Jeep exits this situation.

    Lifetime powertrain warranty buyout

If it where me, I would expect them to give me the money back for the warranty and let me keep the Jeep. They defaulted on their part of the contract. I honestly feel that is fair. Cars break down. Its not their doing that the engine reached its demise. Everything "dies" as TypoNegative put it...

Do I replace the hitch or bumper?

I use a grade 8 bolt. Threads into my bike rack and holds it snug.

Sluggish acceleration and bad smell while driving uphill

I don't think "bad" fuel would be an issue these days unless the Jeep sat dormant for a year. Only place I'd believe there's an exception of possibly contaminated fuel would be Miami. 😆 Sound like a bad cat like as @BLACKJKU suggested. Keep us posted if you have any resolve or find anything you...

    TPMS Sensor

I used this (see below post) to stop the onboard computer from reading the TPMS sensors. Then I went as far as replacing my wheels and tires and going to regular valve stems. Screw the TPMS BS. https://www.quadratec.com/p/aev/procal-module-wrangler-jk-30406007

    TPMS Sensor

TPMS sensors are useless. At least that's my opinion. I deleted mine shortly after buying my jeep. Couldn't be happier. Even on my commuter Honda, I'm having those things removed. Useless and annoying.

    buying used...some questions

126k is up there. There will no doubt be things that need replacing. Question is when? So what does this warranty cover EXACTLY, and what is your deductible, if any, and what is the limit of repairs? Meaning do they "fix" it once and thats it per component? Furthermore, do they do the repairs...
