Have you gone through the headlight adjustment routine against a wall? There are also kits to improve the OEM level of adjustment. I forget if they are the Euro-style or something else but believe they add an extra adjustment screw.

How long after getting it back did it start? Just wondering if you took it back to the place that did the head swap... You can do a compression and leak down test. Not conclusive but it will tell you if something is not right in the combustion chamber, like a failed or compromised head...

Where are you seeing the oil leak?

Did you also change the filter?

If that quote includes paint/finish it sounds like a pretty good deal to me. If you have the ability to do your own paintwork I'd say go for it! I'm a bit surprised you can purchase a lift gate for $164. I would be a bit concerned with what you are getting...

I have the 75th anniversary bumper which is the same as your Hard rock. I found a few winch plates that were a bit more reasonably priced but will have to dig up the links... I haven't pulled the trigger yet, however.

Yeah, different theories apply when you start significantly increasing heat rejection and/or have a purpose built vehicle that spends much if it's life at specific operating points.

Yeah it's a definitely a balancing act. The coolant needs to spend enough time in the engine to absorb and enough time in the radiator to release. Too low of a stat and it won't stay closed long enough, too high and it won't stay open long enough.
