Welcome! That's a whopper of a first post, glad I was in the mood for some bedtime reading material. 😂 Sounds like you may have a bad ground. There are many threads on here where that has been the culprit. The bump triggered events would be consistent with this.

What I didn't know is that dealers are installing tracking devices on financed vehicles. The OP's context implied that they installed a tracking device but it could be removed once the loan was paid off...

A bit different environment but I just got done riding my shed of mice "evidence", sealing all the entry points, cleaning, disinfecting, and painting. We'll see how long it lasts! For such small creatures they sure leave an impact.

Just throwing it out there again... In your first picture the positive clamp does not look like it is seated all the way down. I had this issue when I first acquired my JK... No crank/start. Loosened up the pos terminal, took a socket and tapped the clamp down as far as it would go. It was...

ECM parameters should be retained with keep alive or stored memory. I don't know what the time constant is, each OEM has a different strategy... I would think in the time it takes to replace a battery, or clamps, etc you would not lose anything critical. Maybe if you leave have the battery...
