Yep, not a problem, just throwing out ideas. My goal with the aluminum doors and soft top was to preserve the OE parts. My new Jeep (07 JK) has both hardtop/full doors and softop/half doors. While I love the soft top and half door configuration, I have run out of room to store the hardtop. :(

Is that an issue for me do you the lack of discs? What do they do? I read on charger forums that steel wool packed in the foolers would fix "rich" codes.

I do not think I have any discs on my foolers. There is a "grate" built into the bottom of the fooler in the shape of a X or cross. I am going to pull the drivers side sensor and take a look. I have to go easy today. It is my wife and I's 37th anniversary so Jeep time is tomorrow.

Now I’m feeling like a real idiot. 😖 I just googled which is bank 1 for a hemi 5.7, it is the driver side. Bank 1 on the original engine is the passenger side. Am I correct??

Update, I replaced both bank 1 (passenger side) o2 sensors. I am now down to one code P2096. It is persistent. As soon as the system goes into closed loop, the code goes pending. Then the cel turns on a few miles later. I did the smoke test, no leaks anywhere. I measured the delta temperatures...

My gas cap,p0456 trouble started at elevation when my wife topped it off. I never really gave it any thought. It is possible that a small amount of gas made its way to the detector pump.

Repair it. Stick a plug or two in it and run the 2 months. My wife ran a full year with 7 plugs in one tire on her expedition (accumulative of course). 3 on the sidewall.
