What did you do to your JK today?

Have you check the starter relay? If so, I'd lay a bet on the ECM.

What did you do to your JK today?

Installed the PPE thermal bypass on the transmission lines. The OEM one has a thermostat in it that didn't start opening until around 170°F. I didn't like my transmission temps that high, the ATF +4 fluid likes lower temps. We'll see in the next few hours what my temps get to. Install took about...

What did you do to your JK today?

The JK doesn't come with them, but you can add them very easily. Well at least on the 2012+. I think the only way they came factory with the 2012+ is IF it had the auto climate controls. They take about 5 minutes to add on the 2012+.

What did you do to your JK today?

That's interesting. I had to put a zip tie to hold the headlight plug to 3 prong adapter in the factory wiring harness night before last. I thought I had a LED headlight going out. I have these in my JK & TJ. I really like them, if you decide to change yours...

What did you do to your JK today?

Yea. The filter design on the 3.6 is dumb. It doesnt have a drain back valve causing an almost dry start every time.

What did you do to your JK today?

I'd leave it be if it's stuck closed. Probably the best thing that could've happened to the engine itself.

What did you do to your JK today?

Bought 2 Walker replacement cats for the 3.6. Now to get them installed (dreading it).

What did you do to your JK today?

Get you one of these and you'll be good. I have the one in the middle and have never broken a clip.

What did you do to your JK today?

The pins on the inner fender liner? Yea, those are reusable as long as you don't break them removing them. I took my inner fenders liners out to put O2 sensors in and didn't replace the plastic clips.

What did you do to your JK today?

It is a PITA by yourself. It's doable by yourself (ask me how I know 😉) but would be 1,000x easier with another set of hands to slip the belt off a pulley while you hold it. The longer 1/2" breaker bar you have the better too for more leverage.

What did you do to your JK today?

Swapped the alternator for a new one. First time I've paid attention to it being backwards. The hardest part of the swap was the stupid hydraulic belt tensioner. The factory one lasted 225k miles. I guess it was time.

What did you do to your JK today?

Everyone I know who has a JL and tries to build them winds up selling it and building a JK. Too many electronics in them.

What did you do to your JK today?

You'll like them. I have them in my JK and TJ. There isn't another that is comparable.

What did you do to your JK today?

Then I highly recommend the TeraFlex hand throttle. That's what I have on my TJ. I installed it in about 30 minutes. 1 tip, remove the actual throttle cable and wrap the wire behind it. The throttle cable will help hold the hand throttle cable onto the throttle body.

What did you do to your JK today?

It is very easy. They sort of work in tandem. Yes, you can use 1 at a time even though they are both connected to the throttle body, the hand throttle will have a dead spot until you reach the point the gas pedal is. Since the gas pedal wire is directly attached to the throttle body, it moves...

What did you do to your JK today?

The hand throttle is great with a manual.

What did you do to your JK today?

No turn in needed. My NV3550 is getting replaced with an automatic this winter. Even with the hand throttle, I still want an auto for the rocks. 😂 Love talking TJ's on a JK forum 😉

What did you do to your JK today?

No matter the Wrangler, it is driving a brick. Aerodynamics was not a consideration. That and the tires would be shot by the end of the 6-hour road trip 😆
