How do I tell the TPMS that 30-32 psi is normal so the low tire pressure warning doesn't come on?

Yeah it's just downloading the app to your phone and purchasing a license via the app. The other 30'ish dollars is the OBD adapter. This seems to be the most popular one, and works with both Android and iOS. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XGB4873/?tag=jkforum-20

    2010 JK Sector Shaft

I agree, I'm much the same way. I'll spend money on things like gaskets and water pumps and other boring mechanical stuff over visual/aesthetic/stereo stuff all day. There are some things I want to know I can depend on though, that, if they fail, leave me dead in the water. Axles...

    Gas tank skid plate replacement

Maybe you could get someone local to fab you up some gas tank straps/bands as a temporary solution. Lot of cars just have bands holding in a plastic gas tank so shouldn't be illegal or anything.

Front crank seal? Easy mechanic job?

The crank bolt torque rating is 40 ft lbs. Not sure what that bolt is rated at, but there are a lot of examples I came across looking into it. In one case, a guy JB welded the head of a bolt on and managed to get it out and you can see how distorted it is from over torque. Just not worth the...

How do I tell the TPMS that 30-32 psi is normal so the low tire pressure warning doesn't come on?

The beauty of Jscan is that it's $50 including the license and the adapter. The other "feature" I like about it is that it's one less item you have to remember to take when you're out doing stuff and I can just leave my superchips at home (I got it before Jscan came out I think). Since...

    2010 JK Sector Shaft

Typically most people end up snapping a sector shaft due to the additional stress from much larger tires + hard steering in the rocks. I guess for you on stock size tires it depends on why yours broke...if it was just badly manufactured shaft or if you're just working it that hard. If you're...

Front crank seal? Easy mechanic job?

Nope. The balancer is just pressed onto the crank. The seal goes between the crank and the front cover and creates the sealing surface. Kinda like the rear main seal.

Front crank seal? Easy mechanic job?

Sorry to hear that man. Any updates? Hard to see how you'd scratch that hard ass crankshaft unless he was using a jackhammer to get that seal out. He probably just left some of the old seal in there/didn't clean it good. I'm working right now to figure out what I'll need to install the...

    2010 JK Sector Shaft

I can't say enough good things about the kit I bought. It comes with everything you need and is a straightforward install. Only hard part is wrestling that 70lb gear box into place with one hand, trying to keep it against the rail, and reach around with your other hand to get a bolt...

    2010 JK Sector Shaft

Red Head Steering Gears offers rebuilding, you might give them a call. Even if it's possible though, would probably cost as much as a new one. This is why I installed a PSC Big Bore kit. Yeah, bunch of money up front, but I don't have to worry about it anymore.

    Ac leak?

Yeah for some reason they started shipping the first JKs without patching those holes from the factory

    Camber adjustment ???

Really? I didn't think any solid front axle had camber adjustments other than using shims/adj. ball joints. Only adjustment I've ever been able to get done is toe. Even caster requires adjustable control arms.

    Ac leak?

It fixed my fender and cowl leak. Apparently the early versions of the JK's didn't come from the factory with the hole patches.
