I used a windex spray bottle and it worked, it was winter when I applied it. I ran the spray bottle under hot water to make the FF more liquidly. Maybe using a spray bottle running of an air compressor might be better.

I brushed it on because I got a scream deal on a gallon of FF.

I use FF on both of my wranglers and love it, can't go wrong with it.

update, got the ABS plastic sheet cut down to fit and the next step is to use a heat gun and mold it

Swapped the plastic JL bumper with MP Concepts aluminum. Replaced the roller fairlead with flat style and upgraded the hook as well

It's pretty common to loose oil with the 3.8L engines. If you google it you will find a lot of info regarding the issue.
