Are you sure you have the correct t-stat? If it was a gauge I would think it would not go back up when city driving.

I replaced my factory fogs with leds with halos but they are round and were plug and play. if I were you I would try to find ones that plug into the factory harness if at all possible.

Are your track bar and drag link parallel? Did you get it aligned to make sure tie and castor are good?

Enjoy the wrestling match replacing the cats. A couple hints: pull your front fenders off, much easier to access the bolts to the manifolds and disconnect the battery. I learned that second one the hard way as I hit the starter terminal putting in the new one.

So p0300 was what I was getting from a clogged cat. If I tried to accelerate too hard it would flash and go into limp mode. Also had O2 sensor codes. I tried the $25 cat cleaner stuff which did nothing. Changed out the cats it runs beautiful. One side was clear, this was the other.

Have someone looking underneath in the front while you turn the wheel back and forth. If nothing is moving then it is likely your steering box. If it’s something else you should be able to tell.

I might suggest taking off the other side and getting an exact replacement. I would not drive on a highway without one.

You can buy them on eBay without having to go through an installer.

I had a misfire from a clogged cat. The engine ran fine unless I tried to accelerate too hard then it back pressured and misfired. That doesn’t sound like what your problem is.

Was it not this way before? Does the steering wheel have play in it? Could well be your steering box. It’s pretty easy to to tighten.

Have you tried just grounding that loose wire?
