    Just installed a Bestop Sunrider

It just replaces the front panels. and is designed to change back in the winter. I have yet to decide if I will be swapping every spring and fall. I will be parking inside this winter and the surface area isn't large enough to be a problem with snow weight. Time will tell.

What is a good replacement shock?

I had them on my 99. Nice ride. I remember reading in the tj forum about the length/lift size recommended by Rancho was inaccurate. Something about cycling your sus and using those measurements to order the correct travel shocks.

How can I fix this dent in my bumper?

Before I cut mine down, I drilled a 1/2” hole in the bottom and heated dent with heat gun and used a 3/8” socket extension and pushed it back out. If you want to keep the ends long you can get a rubber plug at the hardware store to keep most crud out.

    What bumper is this?

You might like it with a winch. May be cheaper than a new bumper.

    What bumper is this?

The “W” makes me think it is a Warn. It also had a winch at one time.

Bump steer problems with Rough Country lift

Your best bet is to put the OEM drag link back on and post the alignment actual readings. An adjustable track bar and original mounting locations is best. Also remove the steering stabilizer. That will just add strain to the pump and gear.

    Steering Stabilizer

Pushing and pulling a shock/stabilizer by hand is subjective. I’m sure the manufacturer has specs for the amount of psi used to move the piston for quality control. In my experience a simple hydraulic shock is bad if you feel dead spots. In other words the resistance goes away when collapsing...

What did you use? I got an extra plastic front fender when I bought my JK and used a piece of it for the caps.
