What size tire should I use for J-Scan?

My speedo was about 3 mph fast at 55. I went from stock to 285/70s and now 55 is 55. 30 is 31 and faster than 55 I don’t care much. Checked with a gps app on my iPhone. My shift points did change a little. Over time the transmission relearned and it seems normal again.

Got it. That happens sometimes. I’ve put a puller on and hit the puller bolt with a hammer before. Also left puller on and had my lunch to be spooked by it popping off!

The attachment points should be parallel IIRC. Also the track bar being too short throws it all off. If your track bar is in the factory frame location your pitman arm needs to be in the factory configuration. Dropping the axle 4” means you need a longer track bar or raise the axle end up and...

You should get a pitman arm puller too. You won’t have to cut the currently installed arm.

I think you would pay more to a good welding shop then buying a new one.

Well that sucks. You can get a new Moog from Rock Auto for about $30. You only need a drop pitman with 6” of lift or more.

That’s part of your problem. Put the stock pitman arm back on. You don’t need it with the lower track bar relocation bracket installed.

If you have the drop pitman arm on there you’ll have problems also.

How often do you rotate your tires and do you use all 5 tires in the rotation?

I have a 19 yo firefighter trainee and a 21 yo auto tech sons that help me lift heavy things like tires. I carried them one way or another most their life and now it’s their turn.

How often do you rotate your tires and do you use all 5 tires in the rotation?

I rotate all 5 every 5K with the oil change. Living in Minnesota with the drastic temperature fluctuations, high idle time in winter, that is about the max I would go.

What happens when you upgrade your Jeep's air filter and exhaust system?

The money spent on intakes and exhaust is better spent on beer and bullets.

Accidentally blasted water through PCV hose while attempting to flush heater core

You should be ok with an oil change if you didn’t start it. The water would just flow down to the bottom of pan. Water is heavier than oil. When running it up to temp any water left will evaporate.

What happens when you upgrade your Jeep's air filter and exhaust system?

Chrysler engineers have the intake system dialed in for maximum filtering and flow. Using a good name brand filter is all that is needed at that end. Others will chime in about exhaust upgrades. Check this link out. https://wranglerjkforum.net/threads/air-filter-upgrade.28085/
