Hmm I dunno. My 2013 top has no brackets on the rear section of the bar, only on the tube directly behind the front seats. Maybe it’s for mounting a hi lift or something?

A quick search shows several variations, here is a pic showing 1 version. Simple to see how it bolts up and how you could access the top. I’m not a fan.

Ahhh it’s so nice to live in TN, at times. I have never in my 40 years of driving had a car emissions checked. I actually just finished moving my mustang from 1 shop to another, no hood and lots of shiny aluminum parts showing and very loud. Seen 2 cops, they just wave and we all go on our way.

2 months ago I put mine on its side and then a week later busted the electronic sway bar. It’s all fixed and upgraded…but I would rather have the money back. :ROFLMAO:

Installed my genright aluminum fenders, OHF front bumper and did the vacuum pump relocation. Still have to do the sway bar flip and obviously reinstall the winch. Who powder coats aluminum fenders? ME! :ROFLMAO: Sorry, got the lack of and quality of pics...I never seem to take the time...

Some will say only use mopar, royal purple/amsoil will always get a lot of votes. Me, as long as it’s a name brand I don’t really care, keep up with the service schedule and call it good.

They aren’t very hard to rebuild, as long as you don’t let the problem go on too long. If I ever decide to ditch the electronic bar I will probably go with antirock or swaylock.

Small update. The jeep has been in the body shop for a month or so and I got it back. During this time I found a sway bar actuator from a fellow jeeper, which he promptly shipped to me. Also got the electrical pig tail ordered from the dealer and still waiting on delivery. These are going...

This thread makes me think my sensor is broke…never reset after oil changes and it never comes on. :unsure:

I’m with jeezy, never put them back on. But, if your wanting them back on there, as long as you didn’t “mushroom” the bolt too bad running a die over it should fix you it up.

I put just a little anti seize on mine, makes it much easier.

There are still several company’s here in the states making jeep parts. Like stated above, they are going to cost you a little more. For example, my current obsession is getting my heap ready for 37s and bigger rocks. As such, I have been purchasing a lot of armor from Outta Hand Fabrication...

Gave mine a little trail rash and ruined the back passenger side. Got frustrated with MCE being backordered, so I ordered a set of GenRight 4" aluminum flares.

Good luck finding those now, back ordered everywhere.
