I'm also a fan of the 10" Android head unit that i put in our JKU. The only drawback that I have found so far is that it can't connect it to the wifi signal of my network unless I pull into rather than backing into the garage.

Why not look for one of the Alpine units that fits under the front passenger seat?

Which of all of those numbers on that label is the part #? Everything I search for comes back as the monitor that goes in the tire, not the 'receiver' that mounts to the vehicle.

If you really want to go to power windows, it might be easier to simply replace the doors for that portion, rather than opening them and installing motors, etc. into the manual doors.

You'll probably dislike the offset view if you use the license plate mounting location, as the spare tire will obstruct the view for the right rear corner. Running the wires through the tailgate is straight forward. I even pushed the camera wires through the factory sleeve at the tailgate hinge...

Weird brake light function is a typical symptom of a TIPM failure or a mixed up programming parameter in the ECU - most likely caused by an attempt to modify the DRL settings. That's what caused my brake light issues. Once I returned the DRL settings back to factory, everything worked just fine...

A- This thread has been dead for almost 3 years now, so I bet it's been resolved. B- The issue is more likely related to the shitty, stamped and folded factory battery terminals than a failed sensor. C- You have fallen victim to the "similar thread" curse.

Hope for the U-joint rather than the ring & pinion. Although not on the Jeep, I also had a loose caliper once that would do this. I couldn't find the problem until the bolt fell out and that created all kinds of issues.
