Android radio users; what apps do you find useful or necessary?

Thanks for the reply. I bought this one: IYING 6GB+64GB Wireless CarPlay... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09QXPHBMC?tag=jkforum-20 I’m happy with it, I just think it could be way more functional than it currently is.

Android radio users; what apps do you find useful or necessary?

I upgraded to an Android radio a couple of years ago, and I really appreciate the Carplay interface for navigation, audio options, etc. but I feel like I'm not taking full advantage of this radio's capabilities. While I have the standard apps on my phone, the Carplay function isn't much help if...

    Bouncing Rear Seat

Some time ago, I read a post that showed a factory strap that secures the rear seat when folded, but for the life of me I cannot find it now. It MAY have been posted in a different forum though, as I follow a few for Wrangler lineup.

    3.6 Pentastar Misfire on Cylinders 1, 3, & 5

Given the description of the issue and the solution provided, I think a vacuum leak under the intake is a great possibility, but how would that have caused all 3 cylinders to be so lean instead of only 1 of them? Was there any evidence of a failed seal (pinched, damaged, etc.) on the injectors...

Hooke Road rear bumpers with spare tire carrier

How heavy is your spare, and would you mind posting a few pics of the failure and how it latches, etc.?

Where I can find metal retainer clips that hold the lightbulb in the dome light of the Jeep?

You’ll have to replace the entire light housing… Or plan on soldering some wire.

Where I can find metal retainer clips that hold the lightbulb in the dome light of the Jeep?

Not sure which light you need parts for (front or rear), but complete assemblies for either are about $40 on ebay. I don't know where to get the internal components.

    Replacing Battery Terminals

For "extra connections", these clamps work great because the cables are attached using lug-type terminals and they can be arranged on the clamp... And I chose to go with the marine version on the new battery that includes the accessory terminals.

    Replacing Battery Terminals

I had a set of the clamps w/ multiple taps and found that they were not as good as old school version. I am now running these on the original cables. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DKZRYZK/?tag=jkforum-20

I recently used some of these and was very impressed. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B08F46WKCZ/?tag=jkforum-20

Recommended product to restore black trim and fender flares

You missed my point. Yes, PC is different from paint, but most aftermarket manufacturers apply too thin of a coat of it, and it doesn't last... especially on edges, corners, seams, etc. Hence, buying a set of metal flares that have shitty PC on them isn't really an improvement over the...

Recommended product to restore black trim and fender flares

Except that most metal flares would be best served with a fresh top coat over how they come before installation... so the OP would be back to square one; flares that need to be painted! :ROFLMAO:

Recommended product to restore black trim and fender flares

Yes, it's our '03. I found the end caps (front & rear) on ebay about 8-9 years ago.

This is the paint: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Oleum-Stops-Rust-12-oz-Textured-Metallic-Galaxy-Protective-Spray-Paint-252303/202531398 This is the rear bumper and the splash guards: (Dirt not included) I’ll probably get a coat of this on the mirror heads and the window trim panels too…...

Recommended product to restore black trim and fender flares

Nothing can ‘restore’ the original color except new plastic, but I found a textured, black, spray paint at Home Depot that I used on the TJ splash guards, front bumper, running boards, etc. as well as several accessories/parts on my Harley and I’ve been very impressed with the way it retains the...

Quiet aftermarket exhaust for 2012 Wrangler JK

I bought a fairly inexpensive dual-out, 'sport' muffler for our 2015. It wasn't that bad when new, but nearly a year into it, it has increased in volume and aggravation. Next will be a single, that more closely matches the original.
