    Best mud and snow tires

Had Discount Tire install Atturo Trailblade XTs in 35x12.50/17. They got tested in some limited mud, mostly trails and 85% road. No noise, great wear after setting proper pressure and inexpensive compared to many of the name brands.

    Front End Components

Stock tires in good shape? Wanna keep them that way? Alignment. What DD said about the thread count will suffice till you get to the shop.

    Front End Components

Easiest way is to have someone get in the Jeep and turn the steering wheel while you’re under it looking at the joints. Should be no play in the tie rod ends. That looks like stock steering parts.

What did you do to your JK today?

OEM is preferred over the junk available at the auto superstores.

    Is it totaled?

I’d start shopping for a replacement. Wait for word from insco before buying tho.

    Decent headlights for a JK

Hmm, glad Sunpie worked for you. I couldn’t get them to seat in the factory rings and ended up returning them for the SPLs. I wasn’t carving on a new set of lights. :)

    TPMS: new wheels and J-SCAN

Discount Tire was about $70 a wheel to install and program. At least they guarantee their work.

    TPMS: new wheels and J-SCAN

Bingo. Once they're in the tire, anyone can check functionality. And your OEM dealer isn't being truthful. They do 35s regularly on the new Jeeps and trucks. Factory stock on the new ones.

    TPMS: new wheels and J-SCAN

It sounds like it’s well past time to use your Jeep dealership service department for diagnostics if you truly want these to work. I’ve had TPMS sensors replaced and they worked driving out of the shop. No need to drive them any distance whatsoever.

Recommended tire pressure for 35 tires?

I have a HD pressure gauge from my bike wrenching days that’s within a pound of the TPMS readings on the dash.

    Exhaust for off-road

OEM exhaust will do ya just fine off-roading. I like to hear mine, so I swapped in a turbo muffler and got a little grumble with it now.

What did you do to your JK today?

Hooked a 6x12 trailer to it and hauled an entire apartment of furniture to the winter hideout. It pulls right nice too!

What did you do to your JK today?

😁 Got the o2 sensors cleaned and codes cleared. Who’d have figured an 80 mph (*cough*) 4 hour drive with good gas would do it. lmao!

Yeah, was thinking a can of octane booster and some Seafoam in quantities. Maybe some drygas too.

Second leg of Houston trip in the books. Got a tank of bad gas in some little town, AR. Got about 2/3 down and the crap hit the fan. No power, transmission was hunting gears to maximize what little power I had. Ran that tank down to about 4 gallons left and filled with fresh load. Took a...
