You have the ability to undo 4 bolts and then the whole rack folds back to the rear for top removal if one desires. I never take my top off anyway. I have to much gear in there and peoples fingers are too sticky.

The alternator is regulated within the computer on our jeeps so I knew there was a chance the issue was with the PCM and I did the easiest solution first and planned to go on from there. There are two main grounds from the PCM right next to it. I just cleaned them and it worked.

Where does that 1500 in labor come from? By the wording of the post it sounds like they are charging 1500 to mount and balance tires.
