We have a 2010 JKU running 35s on stock rims and have a 2 1/2" lift. Ours is a Rubicon though. It could really use a 3" lift IMO. We have bottomed out a few times suspension wise.
You would need to regear for sure. We are ok with the factory 4.10 but could be better.
Axles should be ok.

Download the JScan app, get you a bluetooth OBDII reader, then change it to whatever you want PLUS many many more things. Tire size, all the different times lights and horn sound, read and clear error codes, even program a spare key!
I just bought a flush mount 12v LED from Amazon. Removed the bezel and drilled a small hole, then just spliced the led wires in with the other dash light wires.
We have 2010 JKU and run KM3s. Great tire. Run pressure around 25 or 26. The ride is decent and that's with RC lift. Teraflex/Fox combination should give a great ride. Some of the best brands out there. Def drop the pressures.
With the Rubicon you should have 4:10 gears and will be fine with 35s. We have a 2010 Rubi, 35s, stock rear bumper. I had to buy a 1.5" spacer for the spare though. We do have a 2.5" lift though. I think you can get by with no lift but any major flexing it will scrub.
Yes, we have the 3.8...
That looks to be an OEM. If there's no damage then I would say around $800.
At least here in SC and surrounding states. A complete one goes for around 1k to 1200. I have a damaged one and was looking for a rear glass and they are around $250.
DO NOT get Rough Country. The name fits.
Spend a little extra and go with the Teraflex, BDS, JKS, Metal Cloak, Rock Krawler, or as suggested Clayton Offroad. They have some nice lifts.
Make sure to go with Fox or Falcon shocks.
They are basically electromagnets so you should be able to ohm them out. I believe there are 2 plugs on the locker, one for power and one for the indicator. Are you sure you ohmed the correct one?
NEVER run tires at the pressure that is on the tire, at least on a Jeep that is. That is mainly for trucks when hauling. What's on the tire is the MAX that the tire can handle. For most vehicles you go by what is on the door frame sticker, but for Jeeps it is best to do a chalk test. Most...
I have the iCar Pro that I use with the app. I started by lowering the set point of the TPMS but this was in the winter and in the mornings the light would still come on so I just completely turned it off with the app. I also set our tire size when we went to 35s, and I've programmed a spare...
I changed everything in ours and did like you are wanting, I just spliced into the existing wires. I installed a Kenwood head unit, JL Audio speakers all around except for the sub which is a powered 8" Fosgate. I put in a small Kenwood amp for all the other speakers and it fits perfectly...
We have an aftermarket Kenwood and we like it. No issues with the USB cable or Bluetooth connection. The issue we have is with the Android Car Play. Sometimes it works with my Samsung phone and sometimes not, but my wife's Google phone works every time.
