I have Hardrock too, '16 manual. Was Hardrock a popular option?

My '16 JK had these same Procomps when bought Jeep 2 months ago from PO. I have no comparison. One had moisture behind lens Procomp sent new pair, no problem, very nice service.

For all years of JKs, front doors for 2 and 4 door models are the same?

dlhoey1212, no nothing in particular. Could ask a body shop person. As a test, if you find a gap, try stuffing a bit of foam to confirm, just don't use the expanding foam in a can, LOL. If you have a subwoofer, you may be able to reproduce the vibration needed to generate the sound while parked.

Pull of the inner plastic covers and maybe check inside between the inner/outer skins of tailgate. Using a mirror or endoscope device, you might see torn metal or broken weld, hidden damage from the dent you spotted. If so, maybe that's causing the the popping/sawblade sounds you're hearing. If...

'16, 6 speed gearbox oil, manual says, Mopar spec MS-9224. Anyone know which other brand oils meet this spec? Experience? Thanks.

Wow, didn't know computer flash(stealer) needed on top of all that work. I was thinking I could build my own separate circuit w/relays and stand-alone switches, etc.. I think I'll weigh the value of attempting this after hearing of your experience. Thank you.

My '16 hardtop, doesn't have body side-connections for power/washer. I'm not interested in spending ~$250 for a harness plus 4ish+ hours to do entire tie in. Looking for anyone with experience doing a simple power tie-in for defroster/wiper, I don't really need washer. Anyone do this ? Thanks.

Work in progress. Not trying to jinx myself but I've never had a flat while wheeling, so I'm working on spare delete/plate relocation. Found a mini-spare (Grand Cherokee) to carry when wheeling and keep the back seat in-place too.
