Hi everyone. Just bought a 2017 Jeep Wranger V6 Smoky Mountain edition. Love it but had an issue start. It was not raining out and I did not take it through a car wash. It has been very hot out and having to run the AC all the time. I noticed water in the floorboard of the driver's side one day. It had no smell and just seemed to be clear water. I dried it out with a shop vac and left it dry in the sun. It was bone dry. Drove it the next day and wet again. I'm assuming it was the ac drain line but not sure. Can someone tell me where the AC drain line is so I can see if that's the issue? Would love to see a pic or video of it if you can. Any other ideas? Thanks and really happy to be a part of this forum. WRANGLER!

My question is where did the stuff go that was blocking it?

Hopefully out after the block was cleared. A real problem is rust and corrosion if the water remains backed up. We had a expedition with dual air, the rear unit plugged for some reason. We did not notice the plug up and eventually it rotted a bunch of stuff very $$! after that, I regularly used air to prevent the pocket book drain.

I've used the air compressor trick before and it's worked well for me.

Well.....I found the ac drain coming out the firewall. It's tight up there and I used the air compressor and blew some air into it. It was a tough angle and I did the best I could. Drove it the next day in brutal heat with the AC on for 30 minutes. Brought it home and water again in the driver's side floor board. Dried it out again. Took a 16" pipe cleaner (very flexible and thin) and pushed it in through the ac drain in the firewall. Did it gently. It went all way in very easily not feeling like it hit anything. Went back and forth with it. Nothing came out but I was hoping that would have pushed anything stopping it up out. Drove it again with the ac on....water again in the floorboard. I did drive it a couple of times without the ac and no water in the floorboard so I'm really thinking the ac drain. Not sure what to do now besides bite the bullet and take it to a repair shop. My worry is that they're going to do the same thing as me and think it's fix and give it back to me and it's not gonna work. My friends....anything else you can think of? I tried looking up under the dash but I can't really see anything. What a bummer on my first Jeep Wrangler purchase. By the way, besides this the Wrangler "Smoky Mountain" is great and we love it. Just hate to have to pay money for a car I just purchased.
