Hello, I'm sure there are many examples of back-up camera installs, but wanted to share where I mounted mine. The pigtail is just inside the swing gate, and the c-clip that applies pressure to the center cap has been removed so it punches out easily incase I need the spare.

I bought an Auto Vox system on Amazon.
It is a rearview mirror woth forward facing cam and wired rear backup cam.
Powered via cigarette lighter.
Not hard to install hid all wires in tubing along roll bar and power cord direct down top of dash to the cig/accessory power.
My only issue is I mounted to my plate holder ad its partly blocked by my spare.
New project is to move it to spare tire mount.

I like it! I have been debating where to mount mine on a permanent basis.
