Hey everyone. I'm new to jkforum and new to the jeep family in general. I am located in surprise, az(north west valley). I am looking for a jeep guy(or gal) that is a trusted mechanic. I'm sure there are some mechanics that someone knows of that are a jeep savant. I hope I posted this in the right spot. I just need help with the dreaded battery light issue.

So your saying that your Jeep isn't charging?

I'll just move this to the General Discussion, you'll get help there.

Battery light came on and p2504 code came up and I replaced thealternator first. Still doing p2504 and then I replaced battery. Still throwing p2504 and all I was reading is it could be the pcm. I just need a good mechanic, or else I'm going to end up replacing every part on that Jeep.

My apologies... p2504 is (charging system - voltage high)

Yeah thanks for that. I try not to go to mesa if I don't have to. I kinda got lucky with the mobile mechanic in use. Hopefully the issue is pinpointed 👍🏻
