Evap leak video (need confirmation)

Hi, all-

I've got a P0456 code so I purchased a smoke machine and did a smoke test up top of the engine and then below. Ran smoke through a hose thats attached to the charcoal canister and noted smoke coming up through what I believe is the Vapor Canister Filter. Which is located next to the fuel filler hose. I Read on this forum (I believe) that smoke coming from this is normal? But my video is showing a lot of smoke.

Is this in fact normal?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

UPDATE:

Don't know how this cleared my code but I started using Exxon/Mobile, BP and Shell regular fuel and the light went off after a few drives. Knock on wood, it came back one time for maybe 10 miles and hasn't returned. I also now shut off my Jeep when I gas up. Another interesting thing is pinging noise at low RPM's is gone. Best with Exxon/Mobile. Would never believe it if someone told me the same, but it's true! Im sold on not doing Delta, Fuel 1, and the like.
 
I was also told to never overfill the gas tank either. When the pump shuts off that's how I end it. I know lots of people who will squeeze a few more times to round up the price but overfilling can cause a P0456 code too.

Could have been your gas cap, not sure which code that throws

I fixed my p0456 this morning. Yesterday I bought a evap canister, evap thing next to battery and the leak detector pump. I installed everything but the leak detector pump last night. Amazon delivered the pump this am. There was definitely something wrong with the old one. It rattled when shook, the new one did not rattle.

My gas cap,p0456 trouble started at elevation when my wife topped it off. I never really gave it any thought. It is possible that a small amount of gas made its way to the detector pump.
