I will start by saying I mostly use my truck for moderate trail riding and overlanding, backcountry hunting, fly fishing, and camping. I live in western Colorado and see all types of weather and I put a lot of miles on my jeep as a daily driver so keeping things moderately tame and highway friendly are important.

The rig is a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport (JKU). I am the second owner and it was driven very little most of its life. I work for a living so keeping this thing within a decent budget and is a must.

Mods I have done so far over the years:

2.5" Teraflex suspension lift w/ Bilstein shocks
Dv8 Heat Dispersion Hood
Rough country roof rack
Rough country rooftop tent
Springtail systems 100% seat delete
Rear drawer system with fridge slide and upper shelf
Setpower Fridge / Freezer
Barricade Front bumper and skid plate w/ 10k Xbull wireless winch
Radioddity DB20-G GMRS Mobile radio
Starlink Mini ROAM
50" light bar and ditch lights
Smittybilt side steps x4
6' Awning
Riversmith 2 banger fly rod rack
Running boards
35" Ironman MT's on steel wheels
10" aftermaket stereo
Molle Seatback storage panels
Bulletpoint Ram mount system for phone / gopro ect.
Ecoflow Delta 2 Battery w/ 160 watts solar

Probably lots more I am forgetting!

Just wanted a place to share and document my build. I have a few things ordered and in the works and am currently working on the seat delete and rear storage setup.

Project for the day.

I picked up and Ecoflow Delta 2 battery and solar panel setup on a black friday sale for super cheap and will be mounting it on the second slide out next to the fridge. The next couple days are sub zero temps around here so I am going to wait a bit for it to warm up before putting it into the jeep.

Got my Pelican cargo case in the mail today. I will say these are much lighter than the normal pelican boxes I am used to but still quality built.

Its almost a perfect size for the top shelf and still able to open most of the way. The Ecoflow will be mounted in the open space on the right drawer this weekend.

Really like the drawer/shelf system. How do you access the fridge? Does it slide? The power supply looks like it has plenty of uses and plenty of power. 85ah is a good number for overlanding, especially with that solar panel. Lunch time is a good time to soak up some power, an hour or so and you should be topped off.

The seat delete platform is made by springtail solutions and is made of aluminum. It bolts to the existing seat hardware without any modification to the jeep. I did place some boat deck foam on top of it to help with noise and stuff sliding around.

The fridge is indeed mounted on a slide out and is easily accessed. I wish it came out just a few more inches but it does clear the upper shelf as is. Definitely excited to test out the solar and battery setup during easter jeep safari this year in Moab.

Thanks for checking out the rig!

How do you like the Rough Country roof rack and RTT? I've been looking at this same setup but have been on the fence on buying or keeping my inside setup.

I actually love the combo. If you are rough on your gear or frequently have more than one person in the tent I would probably go with a rack with a backbone system rather than mounting to the rain drip rails.

Ive had the rack and tent for over a year and used it a couple dozen times and have had no issues. I have caught a lot of greif for mounting a tent to a rack that attatched to the drip rails as there is some confusion on static vs dynamic weight loads of these hard tops.

I'm 6'1" 250lbs and have had a second person in the tent on a few occasion and have never experienced any issues with mounting points. I was assured by Rough country via email that this setup would work if I stayed within the tents weight limits which was like 450lbs.

For the price you wont find a rack and tent combo at a better deal.

Appreciate the feedback!

Where did you get the terminals??

I got them on amazon. Overall I like them but wish the allen key on the negative side was oriented correctly to tighten it without cutting down an allen key or turning the terminal to one side.

You also have to modify or replace the existing wire connector to fit the new terminals which took me about 10 minutes.
