New here and tried searching the threads but too much to find. I need help. Last week when I left for work the jeep started to act funny every time i pressed the gas pedal. It finally stayed on but the gas pedal limp. Could not rev engine. Codes were p0571, p0108, p2167. Well I replaced the throttle body, accelerator pedal, MAP sensor, Brake sensor and a brand new battery. The jeep starts perfectly without hesitation but still limp pedal. I did the ECU reset and the throttle and pedal relearn. Also absolutely zero codes

Yesterday I was told i should have not purchased any parts from an outside vendor other that direct OEM parts. Is there an issue with the parts that are not genuine jeep parts. Ive spent well over $600 already and no luck

Some Members have bought parts that aren't OEM and had issues on electronic Parts.

That's what I figured. Tried to save a little and now its worse. I/m going to put the throttle body back and then see if the new accelerator pedal works since the other way it had not worked. (New throttle with old pedal).

I replaced my TB with a OEM one and did the gas pedal reset and never had any issues after the first couple of times.

This is how my trouble started... intermittent electrical issues and warning lights, followed by codes, & limp mode.
My root cause was shorting wires at the oil pressure sensor, but since this circuit uses the same 5V reference signal as several others, it is difficult to determine which specific circuit/sensor is the root cause, as losing the 5V signal can cause almost any of the sensors to trigger a code, even unrelated sensors.
For instance, my ABS and pedal position were showing codes, but they were not actually faulty.

I might add if you still have the junk Factory battery clamps replace them for some HD ones, it's been found they do cause quite a few electrical issues.
