Best mud and snow tires

I'm guessing instead of "muse" or "must" you meant mud? If so, do you want one tire that works the both or a separate set optimizing each condition?

I did mean mud and didn’t catch the typo, TY! Yes I’d prefer 1 multipurpose tire if you have a good recommendation. I do off-road but no rock crawling. Just local roads and some off-roading

I couldn't be happier with my BFG TA KO2.
That is what I have on my Wrangler as well. I have had those on other trucks and been very happy with the overall performance and wear. Too early to confirm here since it's early days with the Jeep for me. So far so good with the Duratracs that came on my SuperDuty... If I got a good deal on those I would consider them on the Wrangler when it comes time. Really hard to beat the K02s though and I expect I'll stay with those long term and for replacements down the road.

Had Discount Tire install Atturo Trailblade XTs in 35x12.50/17. They got tested in some limited mud, mostly trails and 85% road. No noise, great wear after setting proper pressure and inexpensive compared to many of the name brands.

We prefer BFG KM3’s.
Those are great tires for the right condition. I think a key here is the "snow" portion... And more specifically, what type and depth of snow will the OP experience. I wouldn't want KM3s on a daily that only saw hardpack and ice (like we see in Michigan). Deeper snow, maybe... Hard to say, though, Washington could see lots of varied conditions depending on location.

I love my Ironman All Country MT tires. They have performed great in sand, mud and snow. Most of my snow driving so far has been wet wet snow.

I've got Toyo Open Country MT's on both Wranglers. Excellent, but they're a bit loud on pavement.

Best tire I've ever used in snow was a 40x14x15 Super Swamper IROK bias ply on wheels with Staun internal beadlocks. Running 0 PSI. Might not be ideal for a mostly street driven vehicle, though.

Nice! For me the best snow tire I've used (although not on a Jeep) was a set of Michelin Artic Alpin snow tires on a 1st Gen SVT focus. Ridiculous. Front wheel drive, but had zero issues throughout a couple relatively harsh MI winters. That was another convincing moment for me regarding having the right tires for the driving condition above all else.

What works for mud is about as far as what works for snow as you can get. That being said, it also depends a lot on what kind of mud, and especially what kind of snow. I avoid mud, so not high on my priority list. Snow I love, and a dedicated snow tire is the way to go in almost all situations, especially here in the east. I've driven in up to 2' of (relatively fresh) snow with no problems using my Winterforce snows. I put Yokahamas on my jeep because they are great all around, pretty good in snow, and I can run them all year. When I decide to go beyond the 255/75-17's I'll go more aggressive, and run the Winterforce on stock wheels in the winter. Sloppy, wet snow is always a problem when it gets more than about 15" thick over a solid base. Then a WELL sipped, soft mud tire may float you better, but I've never been there.

Good to hear that. I just installed 33x10.5 on my LJR. They don’t seem too bad on the road. Of course I’m comparing them to the 6 year old Goodyears that were in it when I bought it.

I am big fan of the BFG KM3, have them on our JK’s and they work great.

I run Duratracs in the winter. I have had bad experience with KO2's in the snow and ice and the duratracs are far superior in those conditions. My favorite all around tire is the Patagonia MT2s but cant find a true 35 17" in those.
