Hello,

Question about the front coil springs on my 2011 JKU. Recently had a bunch of front end work done along with an alignment. Noticed rubbing/clunk type sound afterwards. After looking at the front end I noticed my front left coil spring is touching the sway bar link. Wondering if this could have been from any of the front end work, alignment or just old springs that need to be replaced. Possible to correct this via an alignment? Didn't notice this before the work was done.

Any info is appreciated. Thanks

Is it a lift spring doesn't look Factory? Could be a bad spring , you could always rotate it so the bend is in a different location and see what it does.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it's the factory spring. Can I rotate the spring after lifting the front end with a jack, or does it need to be removed and rotated? Thanks

Should be able to jack that side up from the frame and it will get loose enough to turn.

I was going to say there is specific placement for the spring seat. It may have rotated when they worked on it.
