I had Polks in my TJ and they sounded great. Most on the TJ forum seem to prefer them. But I see alot of recommendations for the Kickers on the JK forums.

I'm a casual listener. Not looking for high fidelity. But the stock speakers in my 2012 JKU suck pretty bad. Would like to just be able to hear a clear phone call and clear music.

I replaced mine with Rockford Fosgate and the improved sound quality is nothing short of outstanding for a road-noisy JKU.

Now I'm thinking these. if I bought today they have $65 sets of two speakers and a tweeter. So thats $195 for 6 speakers and 3 tweeters

There are 6 speakers to replace right?

The biggest challenge with the soundbar and dash speakers is the mounting bracket. The factory speakers have an attached flange around the perimeter of the speaker, while most speakers have the mounting screws within that diameter, if that makes sense. Like this:

I purchased these adapters that worked exceptionally well for all the speakers. You find the tabs that align to the screw holes you need and simply snap the remaining ones off with a pair of pliers.
