I'm looking to swap out my 2009 jk headlights. I don't want anything crazy but just a stronger headlight. The ones in there are quite dim and I feel like its not as safe at night. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

I agree. The oem lights on the jk are terrible. Just about any hid or led swap will be better. I would recommend looking at the reviews for what your going to buy on multiple sites, Quadratec, Morris4x4, Amazon, the choices are pretty endless and some sellers will pad their reviews. But anything you get will be better than the oem lights. Just make sure they are DOT compliant.
Did the passenger side fit with out modifications ? Reviews are saying some cutting was needed .
On the OEM headlights there are square tabs on the black plastic housing that fit into matching notches in the headlight housing in the grille to keep it lined up. On the OEM there are a distinct passenger and driver side headlight. The aftermarket are identical, not left/right or passenger/driver. So, you have to shave a portion of one of the tabs off so it'll fit. Nothing a box cutter and 30 seconds didn't fix.

I bought these off Amazon. They are oem replacements. Replaces the plastic oem retainer with a powder coated metal retainer. I had a tab snap while taking the old out. This fixed that problem like a charm.

Replaced my bulbs only with these from Amazon on my 07. Did the fog lights also. Went on my JScan app and made adjustment to led lighting. Turned on the quad feature also. No flickering at all after that. Install for all maybe 20 minutes. Super bright. Luv ‘em
