What is the dash icon that has curved lines behind jeep. It looks just like the traction control light but is larger. Also when I go over bumps usually if I'm turning and going over them my steering wheel has a clunking feeling almost like its loose. This is at slow speeds but may happen at fast speeds as well. I just got a new intermittent steering column installed and a new alighnment.. please help

The curvy lines is your traction control if they are on all the time could mean you have a bad wheel speed sensor. Also can happen if your steering wheel isn't centered while driving straight.

A good alignment shop will check all steering components.

No like I said it's not that it looks identical but it's larger. I can turn on traction control light that your talking about this is above it and larger

The traction control light that works with the switch is the indicator for the switch. The larger one is the fault light. What @BLACKJKU told you is an accurate assessment to start with.

Like I said it's the larger icon not the one that can be turned on with the button. It happens before and I replaced clockspring. 6 months later it's back on. I do need a new driveshaft cv joint but don't think that's it. It makes a noise like traction control but different light.. also NO ABS light is on

Not the very bottom one but just above it to the right. Clockspring helped 6 months ago but it's back on. A noise does coincide with it. Jeep is lifted. Cv joint boot ripped as well. Could I be ruining Clocksprings. Ps. Cruise doesn't work when it's on like a bad Clockspring . Also I comes and goes

Yes it's straight. I put a new clockspring 9 months ago and it fixed esp light and fixed my cruise control. Now it's back on and no more cruise control. Could cv joint on front driveshaft cause this

Based on this info, I'm with BlackJKU in guessing your front end isn't centered. Not necessarily an alignment issue, but if there was an issue before, the alignment may have brought it back to life.

Check your wheel speed sensors. Bad one will definitely take your cruise control out. If u have to replace be sure to use mopar or u will be doing it again

If you think your sensor is bad pull your J6 fuse. Had this happen to me with the crap OEM rear brake caliper. Overheated and knocked out the sensor. JK was wonky, until I rebuilt the caliper. Pulling the J6 will disable your sensors, to further your diagnostics inquire problem.

I had mentioned that the ESP light came on. Not traction control but the larger Light that looks the same. The light went out with a new clockspring then 9 months later its back on and no cruise. I really don't want to replace it again. If front wasn't centered or wheel sensor why would the light go out when I replaced it and 9 months later come back on.

Did you check to see if you have any CEL's?

If your ESP and ABS light is on you won't have any cruise control.
