My 2012 JKU Has 95,000, I also use a Superchip, I have 37' tires.

The performance problem is there's no power from a dead stop also no check engine light or codes come up.
I even took it to a Jeep dealer they told me there where no codes coming up and could not find any problems.OH but there is still a huge lack of power cant even crawl small rock in 4 Low, My fuel mileage has gone down some. Don't really know where to start 1St.

Also I'm not sure if this has any thing to do with My Performance Problem,

Let Me try to explain it:

In the driver seat parked motor not running All doors closed I Tap on the dashboard and the Warning chimes as if you had left the key in ignition (Its Not) sounds off one time for every Tap.Also if wanting to Listen to the radio At a low volume the chime continues to go off repeatedly and here Recently all functions are working Except for the volume it somtime it works and more then not it doesn't, It has its own time frame could one or two days. (Or Weeks)

P.S . Anyone know of mechanic lives around Lake Elsinore, California?

Bad grounds can cause alot of electrical problems, i'd say try cleaning the grounds especially the one from battery to body. On my Jk I ran another ground from the battery to the alternator case.

When did this no power issue start, after you put the 37's on? At 95,000 miles it's probably needing a tune up if it has never been done, but some of the time if a plug or wire fails it'll set off a CEL.

I only put 37"on recently But I have had my jeep out a number of times with the 37 prior to the performance problem.
it ran as strong as it did with the 35".
I'm going to check that Ground and also add one to the alternator body, I have had my suspension's about the ground and check the body grounds or at least the ones I could find.
There are alot of body grounds.

Oh,
Hi Chris, Good to hearing from you again Hope all is and has been well for you and yours
I Was Just replying to BlackJKU
The Radio and Chimes has always done it ever scents I bought the jeep, just couldn't really listen to it while I was parked.Sometime after I put the 37"tires on and transmission Rebuilt along with transmission shop finally finding the right gear ratio That would that worked with my Superchip with out wrong gear ratio popping up and that seems to me where the problem's started??
I'm just starting my not by choice Early Retirement and moving out of Cali. YAHOOOO to Az. (Via TruckHaven At Salton Sea Til August)
I Just Want to Crawl Rocks Again LOL I don't know where to take it either if the dealer can't even find the solution.

Oh Also With your info I Still have no oil leak After changing the Oil-Filter Adapter. TY

And BLACK TY Also for info

Have you checked your speedometer with a GPS to see if it's right on the money, these JK's are real picky about having everything perfect.

Since these have the electronic gas pedal maybe it's a problem with it, but you'd think it would set off a CEL if there was a problem. Maybe Chris can answer this but I wonder if JScan could help find your problem.

Sorry for not responding sooner,
No, More recent

And I Almost never Stop thinking about in general and even more now that I am having this performance problem,
Retirement is waiting on me(LOL) I'm ready to get out of Cali. But my Jeep isn't.I don't know if you read the reply I sent to BLACKJKU. There are more details in it, I very much (Value) your opinion I am working on ER brake pads today, then diving into finding the solution to performance issues. Going to Try What @BLACKJKU had to offer. I will keep you posted. If You need more info from me Please Ask.
I am at the MERCY of retirement gods(LOL).

Meaning All of you and this Forum

Thank You

Ty I did the ground to Alternator and one more from the block to the body. It's working much better, Not as good as it will when I'm able to go to 488 gear. Hoping 2 months. That should take care of it.
Thank You all for the info

if you clean your ground connections i would reccomend using a wire brush and not sand paper since sand paper uses aluminum oxide and will leave behind aluminum particles which when oxidized create higher resistance. It will work good for a short time then will slowly get worse. If you coat all the connections in dielectric grease that will slow down corrosion as well.
