Hard Top Buddy (or similar): who has one?

Still WAY overpriced for what it is.

Should I sell or keep my 2014 JKU?

I know for a fact the market right now will only bring about $15 for ours. We bought it 2 years ago for $31 and I've put another $5-$6K into it, not counting the upcoming repairs and maintenance. I'll never get the money that I chose to put into it back, and that's fine because I chose to make...

Hooke Road rear bumpers with spare tire carrier

The bumpers on our 2015 are both Hooke Road; same with the roof rack. I still have the factory spare support, so I cannot comment on that part of your question, but the bumpers are pretty solid. Our niece recently drove a Toyota Camry into the back of ours while parked. The HR bumper had a minor...

Should I sell or keep my 2014 JKU?

I'm in a similar boat w/ our 2015. ~160K miles. Top end repaired, TIPM replaced, new plugs and coils. Still needs brakes, driveline service, and rear axle seals, so I'll be into my wallet again on it soon. That said, the depreciation associated w/ possibly selling it or trading it in is more...

2012 Jeep Wrangler JKU center console latch release tab replacements

I’m not certain if these are the same on the older JKs, but I bought this for our 2015 and it was perfect. https://www.ebay.com/itm/324647960936?mkcid=1&mkrid=711-53200-19255-0&siteid=0&campid=5337789113&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1

    Speedo error after taller tire

The options to adjust tire size in JSCAN offer values for every .25" in tire height. I'm not sure if these values are JSCAN created, or ECU managed. Just put a straight edge across the top of your properly inflated tire and measure up from the flat ground. My 285-BFG K02s measured at 31.75"

Looking for tires that aren't noisey

A Jeep tire should at least look like a Jeep tire & perform like a Jeep tire. IMO, the best overall tire is the BFG K02; That's probably why they call them All-Terrain. ;) Joking aside, they have a ton of sizes to fit any application, they aren't super loud on the freeway, and they provide...

Electrical issues - multiple gauge cluster alerts and loss of power steering.

Any clamps that grip around the entire surface of the post are better than the stamped, OEM garbage.

Sorry, but I wasn't able to crack the code... how do you get them for free?

Electrical issues - multiple gauge cluster alerts and loss of power steering.

Although mentioned above, I didn't see if you have replaced the factory battery clamps yet. I had multiple issues directly related to the cheap, folded sheet metal clamp assembly on the negative terminal which caused an intermittent return path for the entire electrical system. The combination...

What did you do to your JK today?

Good choice. The BFG K02's are my "go-to" tire for both of our Jeeps. 28PSI seems to provide the best ride, wear, and tracking on both of ours even though the tire sizes & vehicle weight, wheelbase, etc. are different.
