2016 Rubicon Issue After Lifters / Rockers Replacement

Unless he pulled the lower end apart and inspected the rod bearings there would really be no way of assessing their health completely. Unfortunately, those can tolerate some abuse throughout their life but can also let loose without warning. Your Jeep isn't what I would considet low mileage...

Low Oil Pressure At Hot Idle

I'm no 3.8L expert but those pressure observations seem really low to me. What is your initial cold startup pressure? Should be 40psi or higher.

    JL 392 wheel investigation

I have always liked the look of the 392 wheels. The non-recon wheels are the same specs as our JK wheels (except for the lug holes). Recently a set popped up on Marketplace nearby with 285/70R17 BFG ATs. These seem like they would match the trim color on my 75th anniversary nicely. I'm...

    Coming up on 200k

It's not a matter of having taken care of your engine. That's why you are at 200k. Passenger car engines are engineered to a finite reasonable life - typically 150k. So you have already bought yourself an extra 50k with good maintenance. That's not to say that you couldn't go farther...

2010 JKU will not shut off when the key is removed from the ignition

Thx, but does it shut off when you you turn the key back to "off" without having started the engine?

2010 JKU will not shut off when the key is removed from the ignition

After you pull the fuse for the fuel pump and the engine stops what then? You put the fuse back in at some point. Does the fuel pump have power before you put the key in the ignition?? It shouldn't... There very well may be multiple things happening here, but I would start with...

    Hello from Casa Grande, Arizona

Welcome. I currently have 255/75R17 BFG K03 A/Ts (~32") and they have been a good all around tire. When it comes time for new tires I'll probably look at Falken Wildpeaks, too ..

    Do spacers need to match?

That last drive was probably the proverbial nail in the coffin... When you were driving the lugs were loaded and at a higher temp so you didn't notice anything abnormal. When you stopped you removed the dynamic load, and everything cooled a bit (relatively speaking). Start moving again and...

    Do spacers need to match?

First thing I would do is understand why the wheel stud broke. Looking at the uneven wear patterns on the face of the spacer there was a clear loss of clamp load which caused the wheel to move relative to the spacer. Were lug nut torques not checked or is there a quality issue with the spacer?
